Unspoiled by modern culturalzation you will feel you have stepped back to a slower simpler time.

From your private cottage you can walk to town in minutes where you will find a surprising number of cute little shops with everything from antiques to local crafts for that perfect gift for those poor friends that had to stay back home. The town Theater, The Honokaa Peoples Theater, is also a short walk and it shows art-type films on Tuesday, Wednesday and top box office-types on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The town of Honokaa is a center for well established Artisan Crafts' people of the Hamakua Coast in much as the Monterey-Carmel Coast was in the 1950s' and 60s'. A small farmers market is open 7 days a week.
